Egham Raspberry Jam

This is Thomas, Oscar and Leo's demo of the sense hat and the python code they sent to the International Space station. Testing before they left for the raspberry jam in Egham.

This is the demonstration stand at the Jam  all ready to go before the crowds gathered in.

Here are Oscar and Leo showing people their code and teaching them how to display their names on the sense hat and change text and background colour.

Echelford Club evening

Testing AO-92 satellite

It was warm enough and dry enough last night to get out and try our latest new satellite FOX-1D (AO-92) The satellite is still in testing and this was the first day that they allowed amateurs to test the onboard FM repeater.

Fist contact for M0JFP  was at 8PM and he worked 2M0SQL and a few others.
Using the FT-8900 and manual stepped tuning
You can have a listen to the recording here

The second recoring a little later at 9:33PM this time using the FT-847 and sat-PC-32 to control doppler and again fantastic results which you can listen to here
